I am DOMESTIC!!

Why is this pillowcase so special? Well, I made it!! On my new sewing machine! I am so excited! Now it is no where near prefect...but its usable :) I have another yard, so I'll make a matching one. Then I have some more play fabric, Im hoping to get at least 2 sets done by tomorrow. Then maybe I can actually make "something". My sewing machine is AWESOME!! It has so many stitches...its way fun to play with!! Well I just had to share :)

Relaxing in the snow

After a long walk and then playing ball for 45 minutes Ben was tired this afternoon! So he decided that laying in snow and eating it was better than laying in the warm house & drinking water. It was cute, so I had to take some pictures.

Super Bowl XLIII

We got together with Gary's mom, sister, step-dad, and the kids. There wasnt a lot of football watching going on, everyone was to busy talking and playing around. We did get to see the end though, and we were all disapointed the Cardinals lost.

Our weekend trip 1/24/08

On the 23rd we headed out to Prescott, AZ so we could pick up some left over materials from when Gary was working down there. Friday night the weather wasn't to bad, until we hit Beaver, UT. From there the road was really foggy, so we decided to stay the night in Kanab, UT. I LOVE that place!! I wish we could move there, it's so beautiful and small. We made it to Prescott the next day and Gary loaded up and we planned on driving back home, well again, as we were driving it got insanely foggy and we had to stay the night in Kanab (darn! lol). The next morning we headed home and it was the most beautiful drive! Here are some pics.
