Draper Temple Open House

Last Thursday evening we went to the Draper Temple open house. It was beautiful! It felt like the tour was a bit rushed and the screaming kids kinda took away the reverence part of it. But non-the-less it was truly beautiful and I feel very blessed to be able to walk through there and experience it.

The minute you walked into the Celestial room there was an overwhelming sensation that I wasnt the only one there (and Im not talking about all the other people in the room). Words cannot describe how I felt in there, it was very moving.

Sad to say, while we were in the sealing room, and I stood there looking into the mirrors with my husband, and I wondered if we would ever make it there. I felt a million emotions came over me, but mostly was sadness. But I have hope that one day we'll make it to the temple.

Ok my non-lds friends & family. If you are completely lost as to what Im talking about, just ask. I'll try to explain it.

Temples are powerful. And when the two of you make it there, I want an invitation! : )
